Volunteer, Participate and Bring Friends!! Our annual fundraiser and community event is fast approaching.  Check the activities below and plan to join in the fun and fellowship.

As part of the Summer Festival, we will be having a raffle with four exciting prizes.  Prizes include a gardening basket put together by Sandy Grant, a picnic lunch made to order by Jennie Gwilym, a Creative Memories supply basket by Stacie Thomas and a share in the Fresh Start Farms produce project donated by Liza Moore. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.  You can choose which item or items you would like to put your raffle ticket toward, e.g. if you buy 6 tickets, you can put all six toward one item or  spread them between the four items.  If you send in or drop off your raffle tickets prior to the Festival, please remember to note on each ticket which raffle item you would like to put that ticket toward.  Tickets will also be available after Church every Sunday starting June 7 up to the Festival and will be available at the event.  If you have questions, please call Mary Holmes at 865-4493.

You can also buy raffle tickets for $5 for a chance to win the Grand Prize; a 17-foot Old Town Tripper. It weighs about 70 pounds and is   almost indestructible.   It includes some special add-ons for white-water canoeing:  kneeling pads, two paddles, extra-long lines at bow and stern, and a set of foam blocks for easy transport on a car roof.   It would be excellent for family camping  and can carry a 400 lb load plus paddlers.
